Since 1995 we have been operating with the sole purpose of fighting hunger and reducing food waste.
With the central slogan "We don't throw anything away"our suppliers provide us with products that are either short or have defective packaging without being tampered with.
We then distribute them to foundations, soup kitchens and love meals.
There our volunteers cook every day ensuring a plate of food to all those in need.
Since its foundation, it has been an equal member of the Federation of European Food Banks (FEBA), bringing to Greece the model and structure of the rest of Europe's Food Banks.
The Federation of European Food Banks - FEBA coordinates the exchange of expertise between Food Banks, represents the network to multinational food companies and EU institutions, and highlights the negative impact of food waste on society, the environment and the economy.
In 29 countries in Europe, there are more than 336 Food Banks.

The Food Bank in Athens
represents and coordinates the network of Food Banks in Greece. Each Food Bank is a separate, legal, non-profit entity and works in accordance with the charter of the Federation of European Food Banks to provide food and reduce waste in the region in which it operates.
