Since 1996, the Food Bank has been running COLLECT, its nationwide supermarket food drive. To mark the Global Day of Generosity, it is now teaming up with GivingTuesday Greece on two joint initiatives: COLLECT @ WORK and COLLECT @ HIGGS.

To mark the Global Day of Generosity on Tuesday, December 1st, 2026, the Food Bank is joining forces with GivingTuesday Greece to bring two joint initiatives to COLLECT: COLLECT @ WORK and COLLECT @ HIGGS.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that inspires people, organizations, businesses, schools and communities to give back in their own way, every year. In Greece, it has been officially coordinated by HIGGS since 2021.
COLLECT is stepping out of the supermarket and into the workplace – and into HIGGS.

Your company sets up a collection point at the office and rallies employees around a shared donation. The drive can run for one day or several, and involve a single team or the entire company.

For one day, the HIGGS offices become a drop-off point. Stop by with your donation and be part of the wider drive.
Details & address →Non-perishable staples that the charities we support use to cook meals every day.
Every item collected through COLLECT will be picked up by the Food Bank and distributed through its network of partner charities.
A collection drive at work, a single item you choose to donate, or a few hours of volunteering – it all counts.
Get in touch and we will help you set up a collection point at your workplace. We will send you the food list and everything you need to get started.
